The gallery on the R shows some images from the featured route and others in its immediate vicinity. Like all the wilderness routes in the book, the example chosen is accompanied by a sketch map and the information needed for a day's mountainbiking.
The layout of this information and the grading system used was designed to help identify the routes that will suit you.
While that's pretty much what any guidebook should do we went back to basics before deciding how to present the information. It wasn't exactly rocket science as it's simply the information any experienced rider will glean from research before planning a trip.

Text descriptions then give a flavour of the day. These are followed by individual waypoints defined by their OS grid references and physical descriptions. Brief accounts of the riding between the waypoints complete the picture.
