There are routes you remember for all sorts of reasons. Sweet singletrack, technical climbs, steep drops, stunning views, great weather, carrying the bike (wondering if it's worth it), mechanical disasters, falls, a new trail explored with expectations exceeded or the pals you rode with.

This route ticked all those boxes in a single outing.  On the day the pictures below were taken we had the best of weather.  The lads with whom it was ridden remain some of the best and steadiest company ever.   On that occasion a diversion was made to the stunningly beautiful Dubh Loch.  A spot of pushing but ohhhhh, the scenery and a cracking descent.
